FTW, BIPOC, & Para Grant Applications
At Indigo Cycling , we are dedicated to increasing and supporting the diversity of our sport. We are also invested in supporting local events as part of the Chicago cycling community.
We recognize that those identifying are FTW, BIPOC, and/or para-athletes are the minority in bicycle racing. As such, we use proceeds from our merch and events to pay for the entry fees of local Chicagoland and Midwest races. The races must be within 200 miles of Chicago, IL.
To apply for funds, please fill out the form with a request for a particular race entry amount and/or reimbursement. Please also tell us which grant you are applying for, what race(s) you are using the grant for, and some details about yourself. You may do this prior to registering or up to a month after the event. We will reach out to grant recipients via email.
Please be prepared to provide a receipt for the entry fee once available. At this time, grants are limited to $100 per racer for 2025.
We are proud to partner with Barry Roubaix to increase the participation of paracyclists to one of the biggest gravel races in the United States! We are giving away FREE entries for paracyclists for any of the distances offered. These entries will be available even after the race sells out!

Come race a Midwest spring classic! Indigo Cycling is partnering with Rough Road 100 to give away 10 FREE entries for FTW and paracyclists for both of the distances (64km and 100km). Rough Road can be done on a road or gravel bike making it one of the most accessible races in terms of equipment.

The gravel seas of Nebraska is one of the oldest gravel races in the US. Indigo Cycling is partnering with Lauf Gravel Worlds to offer discounted entries for adaptive athletes. The discounts are available for any of the events including the run on Sunday.
